Elite Challenge 2010:

This year the Elite Challenege was hosted in the amazing city of Virginia Beach, VA. Not only was the weather very hot, but so were the skills of the SkySurfer athletes.
The competitions started with the Elite Challenge, a Worlds qualifying event for all the elite athletes of the USA competing for their spot on the US team to goto Metz, France this November. Both Jeremy and Joshua competed against the toughest competition yet and ended out very well. On individual trampoline Jeremy got 16th place and Joshua got 17th place. In synchronized trampoline, the twin pair recieved 5th place. But thats not the best of it. In the event of double mini, Jeremy received a stunning bronze medal while josh followed directly behind him in fourth place. Great job boys on your achievements!


Visa Championships 2009:

The Visa Championships is a national event in which the top gymnasts from the United States compete against eachother for a spot at the Worlds qualifier in September. This year the Visa Championships was hosted in Dallas, Texas from August 13th through 15th and it contained the various disciplines of gymnastics like Mens, Womens, Acrobatic and Trampoline.
Jeremy and Joshua Cooper both attended this competition and each managed to rank in the top ten on an event. Jeremy recieved 10th place on trampoline as to where Joshua recieved 9th place on Double mini. The boys did an outstanding job in syncronized trampoline, bringing home a bronze medal! Good Job Boys!

Jr Olympic National Championships 2009:

This Year the Jr Olympic National Championships was held in San Jose, California. The Skysurfers had a great season ending with our own Matthew Coblish as a National Champion. Jonah Bonner proudly took home the only silver medal, while Nadja Staeheli and Matthew Coblish recieved bronze medals and Zachary Raddack recieved a bronze medal on both events. Congratulations to all of the Skysurfers for placing in the top 25 on both of their events. Not many trampolinists can say that they went to a national championships because it takes a lot of hard work and determination. We are very proud of our whole team for showing that with a good coach, determination and hard work, anything is possible in the trampoline world.
We would like to thank Rich Trimboli for putting in the hard work and effort to coach our team to a national championships.



Regionals 2009:

On May 16th, 2009 the final chapter in many trampolinist's careers was ended for the season but for the others, it was the begining of the end. However, each member of the skysurfers recieved an average of 7.6 or higher on trampoline and 9.4 or higher on double mini to qualify to the National championships in San Jose, California. Congratulations Skysurfers for doing a wonderful job, see you in San Jose. Also, a big thanks to the incredible coach Rich for coaching the team to success and a hopeful victory in the future.

Trampoline Festival:

On April 26, 2009 the Skysurfers team hosted a trampoline festival at their gym. The trampoline festival is competition for all the kids in the gym who wanted to have a good time and get a taste of what a competition was like.

State Championships 2009:

This year the Skysurfers did an outstanding job at the state championships on April 18-19,2009 at Bounce California. Out of the 11 athletes that attended, the team recieved 9 gold medals, meaning 9 state champions! These athletes who attended include:
  • Jeremy Cooper- Tramp:4th place, Double mini:1st place, Synchro:2nd place
  • Joshua Cooper- Tramp:3rd place, Double mini:3rd place, Synchro:2nd place
  • Max Going- Tramp:1st place, Double mini:1st place
  • Jonah Bonner- Tramp:1st place, Double mini:1st place
  • Courtney Martin- Tramp:1st place, Double mini:3rd place
  • Mathew Coblish- Tramp:4th place, Double mini:1st place
  • Kaitlyn James- Tramp:1st place, Double mini:1st place
  • Mandi Wisbaum- Tramp:5th place, Double mini:4th place
  • Nadja Staeheli- Tramp:3rd place, Double mini:3rd place
  • Zachary Radack- Tramp:2nd place, Double mini:4th place
  • Christian Rotschedl- Tramp:8th place, Double mini:3rd place
Also, out of the 11 athletes who attended, each and every one of them qualified for the national championships in San Jose, California! Congratulations to all Skysurfers!

Winter Classic 2008:
Both Jeremy and Joshua attended Winter Classic in Tulsa Oklahoma. Jeremy Competed in trampoline with a difficulty of 9.2, 0.2 higher then the maximum difficulty for his level, 10. Jeremy is the first on the SkySurfers to exceed maximum difficulty of level 10 on the first year. As a result, Jeremy received 4th on Trampoline, and 5th on Double Mini. Joshua received 11th on Trampoline and 8th on Double Mini. Congratulations Boys!
Elite Challenge 2008:

Congratulations to Josh and Jeremy for medalling at the Elite Challenge in Mobile Alabama. Jeremy and Joshua both received gold in Synchronized Trampoline. Josh received fifth on Double Mini, and First Place on Trampoline! Jeremy received seventh on Double Mini and Bronze on Trampoline. Congratulations Boys!
